Japanese shop stool

This is my shop stool for my woodshop in Japan. The design is a very old one similar to those used in for meditation in temples. The wood is Japanese cedar with a wax finish. As you can see the stool is made to fit my shop which is 36sq. ft. and my "workbench" is about 18" tall.
