-- where you can follow David's step-by-step process on creating a spoon for the Left Coast Eisteddfod, a Welsh-American performing arts festival in Portland, Oregon in August 2009.

David is an amazing artist, who takes each piece he makes seriously and with great care, and he's also a pretty nice guy who's happy to share what's he's learned and developed with other people. He's very happy to hear about other people trying their hand at lovespoons and likes to hear other people's successes. Posted: 12:56 pm on April 20th

Cubby writes: Wow! This looks like a great book. I first carved after reading an article in FW (Letter Carving Basics by T.J. McDermott. It was a sign for our office. It took me about 100 hours to complete. A book on carving will further improve my knowledge, and therefore, my skills. Posted: 10:51 am on April 19th
