Lilly/Hosta door
April 25th, 2009 in The Gallery
Made of reclaimed Douglas Fir (from a factory demolition) and a reclaimed Yellow Cedar wall. The door handle comes from an old door. But recycling is to me more than re-using, also made sure in this project all components can be used again in the future. The joints are not glued but the frame is bolted together. The door and it's components can become something else in the future with very little waste.
