Double Tool Cabinet

Made from walnut, birch, and Baltic birch, the cabinet has two sets of dovetailed, piano- hinged doors, one on top of the other, for more storage space.  Tools can be mounted on all seven surfaces. Doors latch with hidden rare-earth magnets. I liked this cabinet so much I built another identical one and mounted it beside the first one.  Each door is 16" x 40".  First level depths are 1 3/8" and 5/16". Second level depths are 2 1/2" and 4".

Anacapa writes: Thanks very much for the kind comments and thumbs-up. Here are a couple more photos showing the cabinet closed and open to the first level. The description now includes the basic dimensions. Sorry I'm not a qualified Sketchup expert as yet. The joinery is somewhat novel, but not particularly complex and could easily be modified to suit the tools to be displayed.

WoodLess writes: Well that tool cabinet is so nice that I think you should make up some SketchUp drawings to share with the rest of us.
