As part of a Hand Joinery class at Palomar College, we were required to build a box incorporating dovetails, frame and panel and a lid. My Lie Nielsen planes didn't have their own home so a case was in order and this was the result. Woods used were quarter-sawn hard maple and black walnut from a tree near our house. Finish was wipe-on polyurethane and paste wax.
