Brookwood Box

Piano Hinge placement creates a 92 degree opening lid accented by a personalized T-Bird emblem adding an additional 10 horse power to the box.
Hand made pulls and knobs designed to secure lid and all drawers via internal locking device. No extra protruding elements making it safe for travel.
Inset wooden side handles integrated in the frame and panel. Finger jointed corners.
Veneered and inlayed top. Solid perimeter.

WHITE OAK MACHINIST BOX

Zebra wood with custom aluminum handles. Box lid latches internally and secures the drawers by a quarter turn on main knob.  Side handles are built into the frame to create a streamlined, no nonsense, bullet proof box.

brookdalewoods writes: Thank you all for your gracious comments. The drawer fronts started with a one piece glue-up then diagonally cut on the table saw to create the curve. It was dado-ed to receive long handles and then sliced to size. No dovetails because it was just a "quickie" (ha ha 9 weekends) toolbox. Posted: 8:52 pm on July 12th
blueberry1 writes: Excellent design, in particular I love the utility and aesthetics of the drawer pulls. Did you cove cut the drawer handle relief areas with a small blade on your table saw? Bandsaw and spindle sander? Drill press? They align beautifully however you did it!

I'd have liked to have seen half blind dovetails on the drawers, but that's my only constructive criticism. This design kicks ass! Posted: 2:42 pm on July 10th
