The clock is made from black walnut. The top is veneer from a 1939 airplane restoration job I got to do with Boeing for the Smithsonian. As far as the design I didn't draw it out but if you like I took some pictures along the way that I could send you.

Did you use a mahogany veneer on the top of a curved form or did you laminate the curve?
