Boston Bombe Chest

The chest's case sides and drawer fronts were hand shaped from a solid 12/4 board of African Mahogany, 24" wide and 12' long.  Secondary parts are made of poplar, hard maple, aromatic cedar.  Drawers are made with hand cut compound miter dovetails.  Feet are ball and claw.  The drawer sides are shaped to match the exterior bombe form.

WCE_2009 writes: All of the pieces are very good. However, this chest is the most fluid of all of the designs. Additionally, the workmanship is superb. Of course, we cannot see closeups of all the detail but it is truly gorgeous. The finish too is unbelievably attractive.
