Mahogony display case with maple & walnut inlay

This display case was created using mortise and tenon joinery.  The inlay was created by sandwiching a 1/4" thick board of walnut between 2, 1/4" thick boards of maple and then cutting slices off that board that were 1/8" thick.  The shelves are held together using a splined miter joint with the splines made of maple.  It was my first time to work with glass and it turned out extremly well.
