This stacked mizuya-dansu (Tansu kitchen cabinet) is patterned after an authentic piece owned by one of my clients.  When unstacked it can be used as two unique end tables or bedside cabinets  It is constructed of African mahogany w/ elm wood drawer fronts.  64" high x 31" wide x 18 deep.  Tansu hardware from Hida Tool & Hardware Co.

Jurgen01 writes: The tansu style is an often-overlooked well of inspiration. You have built a beautiful set of cabinets in the traditional style. The choice of woods is not as traditional, I think, but it really works well with these cabinets. Very nicely done! Thank you for posting the photos. Posted: 6:40 pm on October 5th

Your choice of woods is stunning. Very nice piece.
