Hello everyone, I am a self taught woodworker, and thought it might be useful to post a couple of my projects on here and get some comments/criticism from all you experts out there. (Go relatively easy on the criticism though)

This is a hall table that I made from ash as a wedding present for some friends of ours, what do you think?

Thanks for the comments.

The bottom of the legs are just slightly chamfered, but no glides or similar are fitted. I agree, didn't really like the drawer pulls, but 'she who should be obeyed' chose them. Posted: 8:31 am on October 12th

keep up the good work. Posted: 7:07 pm on October 10th

Your friends must have been overwhelmed when they received this gift; it's certainly better than a toaster! You can be darn sure they won't be regifting it ever.

Did you put glides on the feet to protect the bottom of the legs and the floors?

It really is a nice piece. Posted: 12:30 pm on October 9th
