The new porch

I know this isn't furniture but I built this stuff like it is furniture.  There are mortises and tenons, splined mitres, biscuit joinery, segmented curves, bolections, reised panels and the use of several wood species including, Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir, Red Oak, Western Red Cedar, Ipe and PT pine.  The window boxes are sturdy enough to stand in AND I even designed and built the light fixture.

I don't think you should be apologizing for putting up your porch on this web page, the craftsmanship is simply outstanding. The only thing missing is several nice chairs to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Posted: 2:17 pm on October 15th
