Table was designed for use, durability and beauty. The species are maple and walnut. There are no metal fasteners.

Detail of top. Veneered hard curly maple. It took me a while to find something that looked just right for the scale of the table. I think it looks very nice. The figure is usually covered by my cat. :)

A coffee table that I designed and made for my wife and I. We had an idea of what we wanted and came up with this. I think it came out nicely. It has a feeling of heaviness when viewed from the side but when viewed from above, it seems weightless. The veneer helps to achieve this I think. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
