Teak Outdoor Kitchen Cabinet
October 28th, 2009 in The GalleryThis is a solid hardwood cabinet I built for my outdoor kitchen. There isn't one piece of plywood or veneer in this. Measures 6'6x3' and weighs about 600 lbs. The top, drawer insides and cabinet slats are teak. The framework, drawer fronts and door frames are melina. I'm thinking about changing the drawer fronts to teak for better contrast

In my humble opinion, you should keep the drawers like this, because it might be loud on the eyes, perhaps, maybe add inlays or decoration if you want to add some spice to the drawers. But I can't see in your head, your idea might be great also.
Respects.
