Big-time green woodworking
March 23rd, 2009 in blogsHere's an interesting link to a big Massachusetts woodworking firm that is going green in a big way.
Mark Richey Woodworking of Newburyport, Mass., already had a Biomass furnace to heat the company. And it already used hybrid vehicles. Now Richey has unveiled a 292-ft. wind turbine that his company says produces 85% of the electricity used in his 130,000-sq.-ft. building.
Check it out at his web site. And while you're there, check out the furniture.
