The reception area finished
Veneer is Kauri, legs bronze cast.
storage cabinet behind desk
glass cabinet, the top part has minimal timber and the glass panels give it strength.
The stiles are 1/4 round and veneered, and mortice and tenon.
 
the veneer used, 83 leaves 2500 X 225 mm
all hand cut and only one leave spare for this job.

Got this job through a interior designer .

all material was delivered to my work shop.

I used 7 1/2 weeks to make , i did not do the spray painting.

My workshop at that time was 48 sq. metre , because of the difficulty i worked on all pieces at the same time and the challange was to was to find room to do the work.

First all machining then move the machines to back of work shop and after that only hand work.

The brief given was in the 3 pieces they wanted, sort of style type, dimensions and time frame is 8 weeks till opening.

This was the greatest fun i had that year, hard work and change ass you go to make it look good.
