Maple Kitchen Island

Materials: Hard Rock Maple Hard rock maple butcher block. Maple drawer boxes with sidemount full extension slides. Table  frame is morticed tennoned and pinned. Finish is sanding sealer 2 coats with 3 tops coats black lacquer.  
Sides are 3/4 maple frame with beaded maple inset.

This was a Rock Hard Maple Kitchen Island / Workstation I designed and built for one of our clients. The butcher block, legs and frame are hard rock maple. The beaded panels deck planking drawer fronts and boxes are soft maple.
