One of my favorite commissions to date, the client allowed me total freedom upon approval of an initial sketch. The carcass is Honduras Rosewood veneer, frames and legs are solid Indonesian Rosewood. I had been saving this small flitch of veneer for fifteen years waiting for the perfect project to use it on.

Well done. Beautiful use of the rosewood flitch - the contrast with the sapwood is wicked. The design of this piece is really strong. You did a great job merging the rectilinear form of the carcass with the sweep of the legs and table top.
