Rocker Project: Making Rocker Legs

First, finish a leg-making article. Recently, I sent off an article about making the leg that's in the vise. This was my first try at providing my own photography for an article. I enjoyed the trial and error aspect of using my camera's timer. Often the shot came out better than I had envisioned. This is what my bench looked like after the last shot.

Next, dig into the rocker project. Now I can continue with the rocker. I've milled my leg blanks, routed cross grain and knocked off the corners. This makes turning a bit quieter but I think I do it for the kindling.

Prep the leg blanks for turning. I'm readying the blanks for the lathe. On the workbench, sits the bowling bench, back with its slick, freshly woven seat.
