I am currently a college student studying Architectural Studies with a strong focus in furniture design. I have been woodworking for almost 4 years now, but only in the past two have I started designing and completing my own projects. I have apprenticed and interned with a few Master furniture makers, one being a custom guitar maker. I have many drawings for future pieces and turnings which I am very excited about starting in the near future.

It was not from a plan. I spent about a year and a half researching different techniques of making an electric and afterward I spent about a full month doing full scale drawings in frontal view and profile for template making until I was completely satisfied with the design. Thank you. Yes, everything was made from scratch (except for the binding and purfling as those are far too small to make yourself). I hand sawed the fret slots using a the Stewart-Macdonald miter saw designed for fretboards that a close friend let me borrow. It truly is an adventure and I urge you to go through with it as it includes so many processes. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your guitar in the future!
